Geo Domains are the only domains in general that can service a variety of services for locals
in their area. This allows those with vision to create additional streams of revenue. This morning, I saw a few campaign ads and it got me to thinking. Candidates running for city offices could benefit greatly by advertising on these targetted geo domains. Whether it be Denver.com or DenverRealestate.com, it provides candidates targetted local exposure insuring maximum value for their spending dollar. There are hundreds of hidden revenue streams availble on good geo domains. Have you become Complacent?
What are some other hidden streams of revenue?
Every domain is a goldmine, it is how you mine it that will determine if you come out on top with gold or fools gold.
What are your thoughts,

Jeff Jefferson Says:
One avenue I’m exploring with my geo mobi portfolio is partnering up with a local real estate agent. They are salespeople by nature, and they have a good grasp of the local business scene. They can help sell listings, and they also get an exclusive for the real estate section of my site. I have my real estate license, so if they sell a house through a referral they got off the site, they can pay me a referral fee.
I know some city.com sites also give exclusives to realtors, so what I’m proposing isn’t really a “hidden” stream of revenue, but I think it’s an interesting idea with a lot of potential.

Jeff,
This is a subject I plan on covering in the coming weeks in detail. My wife was a realtor in Austin,Tx before we moved to north carolina and she received several of leads thru the domains I registered for her. If you own a great name, realestate is the Holy Grail. Good stuff for sure! Being a realtor only adds to the bottom line as well.
