I just wanted to make sure the readers of this blog are informed of a gmail scam currently ongoing.  Below is a copy of an email I received today.  Please get the word out to everyone so they do not risk sensitive details from being obtained and loosing access to their gmail account.  If you are a domain owner and use gmail as your admin contact, this could cause you to loose all your domains!  They are using the following bogus email address:  edit.admin@gmail.com

Dear Account User,
There is a problem with our Server Admin Database.
 
Due to the clash we had on our Database, we were unable to access your information to prevent your account from being affected of the ”Virus”as well as  protecting your account from been deleted permanently.

The reason  we are sending this e-mail  is to notify every Account Owner for safety precaution. We
are having congestions due to the anonymous registration of other accounts so we are shutting down some  accounts.
 
Your account was among those to be CLOSED.  We are sending you this email so that you can verify and let us know if you still intend using  this account. If you are still interested please confirm your account by filling the space below.
  
You will have to confirm your E-mail by filling out your Login Information below after clicking the reply button, or your account will be suspended within 24 hours for security reasons.
