Domainfest, The Rise Of A New Conference Leader?

I received an email a few hours back with all the details for domainfest 08 and it got me to thinking.  This conference is going to be huge if it continues to recruit the top speakers in the industry to share their knowledge and continues to recruit premium generic domains for auction.  As you already know, oversee.net is co-founder of Domainfest.  Recently they acquired Moniker.com, who will be executing the Auction portion of the conference.  There will be a total of 60 speakers for the event and all will cover many different and important topics to domainers.  The names that are going to be listed on the live auction are outstanding generic domains.  I am predicting that Domainfest will break the Auction record set by previous Traffic Conferences.  Oversee.net has stacked the deck with this conference with their recent acquisition of Moniker.com.

Will Domainfest critically injure the success of the Traffic conference in February?  Will Domainfest become the number 1 conference leader in the domain industry after this conference?  Domainfest has certainly gained a large amount of interest this year.

I do not predict any auction records being set at the Traffic conference next month due to the high quality of names being offered at Domainfest.  Investors are going to spend alot of money on the premium names being offered and become somewhat short on cash by the time the Traffic conference is executed.  Take a look at the preliminary list.

OK here is a Quest to all Geo domainers.

lets see who can register 1 prime Geo location name in the next week.

Lets see if there is still any good Geo number 1 names about.
    must be a 2008 registration.

    Tommy,

This will be some fun, but readers will need a little more guidance for this task. Are you talking about any geo domain that describes a pure city or island? Any limitations to population of the city?

Should be interesting to see what Geopreneurs come up with.
