Skip Hoagland Develops EnthusiastSports.com Network

Posts Posted by Steve under General on Thursday, February 14th, 2008 7:38 am

Skip Hoagland is a very smart businessman.  He continues to stay successful because he is always looking ahead, while others are focusing on the present.  Recently, Skip announced the development of the EnthusiastSports.com Network.  The network is much of the same concept as AssociatedCities.com, but involves generic sports.com brands.  This will become a major media network as billions of dollars are spent on sports advertising yearly.

The Enthusiastsports.com Network will be launched by our company in  alliance with another major media company to be announced soon. All of the top 80 Sport.com Intuitive Brand names only will be invited to join the network under a total equal participation and ownership percentage. This will become one of the most powerful networks in the World once fully developed. Further, we will also encourage these owners to offer local affiliate programs to all Geo domain owners for all these sports.com names.

Additionally, our company will be fully developing Fishing.com and Flyfishing.com in an Alliance with another Media company to take full advantage of our synergies also to be announced soon. Fishing.com also plans on offering an Affiliate program to all Geo domain owners as well for all local info on this sport that has over 50 million Enthusiast just in the USA. Our databases will include Global Fishing Guides, Fishing Lodges/Resorts, Booking Agents, ecommerce for new tackle, classifieds for used tackle, fishing boats, fishing forecast/ weather/ satellite info, search by species and much much more.

This is outstanding news for everyone involved in this network.  Sports.com owners will have an organization to share ideals, grow traffic, increase revenue, and become organized.  Skip continues to align and unite the major forces on the internet into unified fronts of strength, commitment, and dominance in the new media arena.

The great news is that Geopreneurs will be able to earn additional revenue from these sports.com brands as an affiliate.

Congrats Skip!

Skip has his fingers in too many pies and won’t develop things correctly.

This is the second or third time he has publicly announced he is developing out Fishing.com, but just threw up some junk and added affiliate programs without any real effort involved. I have never been impressed with what he has done.

He is also such a blowhard and insulting guy that it is hard to do business with him anyway. IMHO

With a great new association like this taking shape, can a Fantasy Sports Network of the various Fantasy Sports domain owners be far behind? ;-)

First who ever this person is , has already proved what kind of person they are by being anonymous and hiding in the shadows.

They are obviously the kind of person that is jealous, vindictive and has something to hide. We all know these type of people. I challenge this person to have an open debate with me if they are man or woman enough.

For those who know me, my record stands on its own and I do not hide or defend what I have done and stand for. I remain fully exposed and transparent. I have many partners in many different types of businesses. I have built many companies from scratch. I try to surround myself with great people and combine skills when I can.

You say I do not develop correctly first I do not develop, I acquire names, help fund operations with my partners who do. I think all our sites like http://www.buenosaires.com , which recently won the best non US site award at the Geo Expo speaks for its self. Further other sites like http://www.atlanta.com and many others. Additionally, we all know how hard it is to develop sites and many of us are just now beginning in this quest.

Fishing.com and Flyfishing.com Alliance will be announced within the next 30 days so my new friend Johnny B Good will see who is the insulting blowhard guy me or ole Johnny B Good.

I think Ole Johnny B Good has lots of future surprises coming his way. Honestly who ever wrote this really does not deserve the time of day, its just that I like his new name. Their will be no more replies to ole Chief Johnny B Good. My suggestion to Ole Johnny B Good is go to work and spend your time doing positive things versus attacking those who are trying to make things work and don’t ever underestimate what some people are capable of achieving.

One thing I have learned recently is that people who haven’t been a success love to shoot arrows at people who have the midas touch. After helping get two .COM companies off the ground and personally launching two more .COM companies, you would think that I don’t have to defend my ability to get the job done. Yet, I take many arrows from business partners, board members, partners, and employees who have their own ideas of how to run the business. Am I perfect….no. Do I know what I’m doing…yes. Do I have a plan…yes. I just tell these folks that if they can do it better, then go launch a competitive company and lets see who is right. I’ve had several folks who left and formed competitive ventures. Never heard from them again.

I’ve known Skip Hoagland a long time. When he says he is going to do something he does it. He has worked hard for what he has and owns one of the best portfolios in the market. It is easy in this business to talk, but hard work and patience is what will continue to move us forward. I am sure his Sports Alliance will get legs at some point.

It is hard to predict the future but staying in the game and being engaged will enhance our odds. Skip’s successful track record speaks for itself. He has the means and will justify it in the end.

    To Johnny B. Good

Hi Johhny Its great to see we still have muppets around the forums.and just like kermit.I think someone must have there hand up your backside mate.
Its so typical to attack a Guy whose success and straight talking and track record is there for people to see.
    with names like Fishing.com,buenosaires.com,atlanta.com,
Edinburgh.com just to mention a few would be perhaps interesting for you to post some of your names and then we would see who is Talking Mince.

  7. Lawrance Bailey Says:

Congrats Skip on the new project.

I’d be very interested to see which sports make it into the top 80 sport .com intuitive brand names.

    Skip,

You didn’t even need to respond to that in my opinion.

I have never had the pleasure of meeting you but I can say that everything I have read about you speaks for itself.

I think there is probably a little bit of business jealousy at work here and rightly so. The vision and opportunity in domains that you, Michael, David, and Dan Pulcrano have acquired will not be realized again in the GEO domain industry. That speaks volumes in itself.

You are on top and surely this individual is looking up at you.
