I have a confession I would like to share with each of you. Lately, I have found myself failing to read the geo forum thoroughly and interact with topic starters.   I am sure I could make up 100 excuses, but honestly, I have been missing a learning opportunity on this industry by not participating.  Is it possible that you may also be missing a learning opportunity? 

There are many great discussions that go on there and announcements are made of future services currently being developed by others for geo domains.  I have found several of topics to write about as well, that deserve their own post on the blog.  If you really want to start or improve your education on the geo domain industry, the geo forum is an outstanding place to start. 

The professionals there discuss development, acquisition, and consumer local search among many other subjects.  It is the only place on the internet that discusses the geo domain industry as a whole.  So, I will begin engaging in conversation daily on the forum when time permits and ensure that I post useful topics on the blog. 

I am pretty sure that everyone who reads this blog can learn a thing or two in the geo forum.  If you are an expert already in this industry, then you have a thing or two you could teach others thru the geo forum.  Industry growth can only occur by educating individuals and sharing knowledge for others to stumble upon thru search engines. 

Will you join the ranks and participate in the geo forum and grow the industry?  Learning is a continuous tool on the internet, just when you think you have a system down, consumer behavior and technology change you from a teacher/expert to a student/novice again.  You have to consistently stay proactive and engage learning opportunities.  In the end, complacency stunts growth.
