Moniker To Auction Geo Domains In Paris
Moniker.com will be hosting a geo domain auction in Paris in June. They recently sent out an auction alert thru their newsletter. The geo domain industry is maturing and the international market is exactly where the fire needs to be ignited. Moniker.com continues to educate business owners and investors on the importance of a great web address. It will be interesting to see the results of this auction.
Even if the results are not good, it is a great indicator that the domain industry is understanding exactly how powerful geo domains are becoming as countries from across the world embrace the internet. Things can only get better if the auction fails. I have a feeling if great names are submitted, we will be surprized of the auction results.
Auction Alert Make sure your marquis names are among the premier international inventory in the Live Domain Auction at DomainerMeeting in Paris, June 19-20. The deadline for bulk domain submissions is tomorrow! If you’re looking to cash in some of your domain assets, now is the time to consider an auction if you have these types of domains among your holdings:

Moniker should do well. The Euro is killing the Dollar and hit a new record today.
Moniker will do great with the geo domain names sale for sure - Geo domain names are HOT STUFF
I disagree with doing well…idns, foreign language domains…a very small market and I doubt many deep pocket domainers will be attending…also I think the advertising mentality is different in Europe thus the value of domains is less with the exception of the UK.
This is a little bit unclear to me - is it about geo domains or country code domains? I guess these two thing can mean something different for many of us. In this article it is about ccTLD domains I suppose.
@ tim davids - I would disagree with you
European market is growing like hell and even countries like Poland (which have still a lot of work ahead of them) start to be great place for domain investment. To give you an example - polish .pl domains are traded for $10-30k quite often and transactions ranging $50-200 happens as well (of course not so often - few a month / year). It is not yet comparable with US market but it is a matter of time, when EU domain market will be as strong as the US - IMHO. Take the week $$ into consideration and the you’ll see that prices of domains in Europe already went up a lot recently.
I have 3 geo domains in this Auction, probably my best is Charlesdegaulleairport.info
the others are listed here, http://charlesdegaulleairport.info/Links.php
