SimplyGeo.com, LLC Acquires GeoDomains.com and GeoDomain.com
SimplyGeo.com, LLC has acquired the elite names, Geodomains.com and Geodomain.com. These acquisitions took several of months to negotiate and we would like to thank David and Michael Castello for assisting us with this process. They were key players in making this a reality for the SimplyGeo team.
This is such an amazing opportunity as you can imagine to be an end user to industry domains. These names deliver credibility, strength, and industry dominance for SimplyGeo.com, LLC. We have big plans in store for both domains that will bring value and publicity to this maturing industry. In the end, it will benefit all geo domain owners and media companies who embrace geo domains.
Geodomains.com will become the “official” media portal for the geo domain industry. It will become the anchor to the geo network currently under development. Additionally, it will promote other companies in the industry. The blog and forum will be integrated into the media platform (that is already under development) to make it convienent for visitors and media companies wanting more information on the industry.
SimplyGeo.com will become the holding media company to these assets, as well as other media assets we have recently acquired.
Geodomain.com will become the premium auction platform for the geo domain industry. As I stated in the past, we were in search for a great name to deliver this premium service. We feel this name will work great for the game plan we have in store.
We will do an official press release once we launch Geodomains.com. I would like to thank each of you for your continued support. All of you make this opportunity possible by uniting together and promoting the industry as a unified front. There are definitely exciting times ahead for all. Please stay patient as there will be alot of postitive changes to come. The one thing constant in life is change.
Thank you once again,
The SimplyGeo.com Team

Nice couple
How much does it cost?
Why Castello Brothers didn’t purchase it for their own needs?
I don’t get it.

Linda,
Cost was not cheap, no more can be said. Elite names never are.
Long story, but bottom line is Castello’s have a big portfolio still left to develop. They are developers for the most part. I am sure they will explain better if they feel the need to.
Thanks.
very nice acquisition and i’m happy to see them in your hands… congratz
Congrats Steve! Nice names and great idea!
Ok, Steven thank you.
Of course guys you may keep it in secret
You know, prices or even it’s range (xxx or x.xxx) is hot topic and always interesting.
Maybe we’ll see this acquisition at the next DNJournal Sales report?
Just wonder if it is enough to be listed there or to be on top of the charts
I asked about Castello’s assistance in this deal just because I don’t understand why they let these domains go to the competitors (maybe) instead including it into there own portfolio.
It’s simple
***SMO***
Linda,
These names will not be listed on DNJournal.com, and I can assure you they would be in the top 10. There is no need to tell the world what we paid for these gems, nor is it polite to ask
The only thing that matters is that we now own these industry domains and have big plans to promote the entire geo industry with them. In the end, this will bring value to all geo domain owners. Our number one goal is to assist geo owners become successful and to educate media companies along the way.
It will be a fun journey for all, and the geo domain industry will be defined. In the end, everything worked out great.
Thanks.
Thank you to all, for your comments and support. This should be a fun journey.
Godspeed,
Steve
Nice News - Great
Nice acquisition,
All the best….
Fantastic!! A great domain in the hands of people who really love geodomains. Perfect fit. And congratulations to all those involved.
congrats…Are you going to rent a cool night club for us all to come and launch the site
just kidding…
Any idea at this point when the auction part would be ready?
I NEED to know so I know how much time I have to put $$$ aside
***SMO***
Tim,
No cool club parties for the launch of Geodomains.com, though plenty of those to go to in the years to come in the industry. The success of the sites will come from meeting consumer and media demands, not impressive one night party events. We have a really nice media layout for geodomains.com. The auctions will come, but the priorities are to deliver value services first that are not on the market right now. There are plenty of auction sites where people can list their geo domains for sale in the meantime as we launch the services that there are no sites for at this time in the domain industry. We want to be the first to offer these.
If people want us to speed things up, they can advertise to help pay for all this development…It is rather expensive…. =) It is a great way to support the network under development. By the way, it is a smart move to advertise now and lock in rates for a fixed time, as rates will go up once everything is transfered to Geodomains.com.
Steve,
Congrats to you and Skip. I wish you and the company much success and enjoyment with the domain.
I cannot think of a single person in the world who deserves this elite domain name and can do it justice the way I know you can!
Linda:
What Steve said is correct, these names will be used to promote all Geodomains. The more we thought about it, the more we decided it would be best to stay focused on building the undeveloped names in our portfolio. We only have so much time and Geodomains.com would not be a small project. Furthermore, we knew the names would be going to Skip and Steven and not just some domain name speculator who would flip or park them. It’s a win-win for everyone. As somone told me this morning, we sometimes take our Domainer Choice Award for Domain Ambassador pretty seriously
Great Aquistion Steve, very well rounded names!
Best of Success with it!
Steve, David, etc.
This is another great acquisition for this project. Well done.
Best regards,
Emil
It looks like someone forgot to register wwwgeodomains.com before talking about it here. Oops!
You gotta’ love domainers.
***SMO***
TQ Score,
We didn’t forget, we didn’t want to. It is worthless to us, although it “May” get 1-3 hits a month after we build out, it has no value and was not worth the $7 registration fee. However, that does not mean it does not have value to the registrant.
Good luck with it.
Great move! Looking forward to watching it all come together.
This explains all the calls about geodomainname.com and geodomainnames.com - I couldn’t figure out what was going on…..
***SMO***
Too Funny AJ. Let us know if want to download them names. You would not believe how many people wanted geodomains.com and geodomain.com while under negotiations.
There is definitely alot of interest in this young industry.
