It is not everyday that you get the opportunity to start a major trend in the domain industry. Since December 07, SimplyGeo.com has been responsible for a few. We launched Geodomainer.com on 3 March privately and announced our plans to the industry on 9 March. A month later, SynergyDomainClub.com launched publicly. After doing some research, I have discovered at least 25 other social networks that are in stealth mode and will be launched in the near future.

As I stated in the past, this was the missing link in the industry that prides itself on networking. Soon, there will be a variety of networks available in the industry to select from. It is a long time coming and it feels great to start this trend that has already proven to be an essential missing piece to networking. Forums have failed to deliver this interaction module.

We are pushing the domain industry to new heights, which means better innovation and tools for the industry as individuals strive for excellence and the next best thing. I wish all of them success and look forward to reaching new levels in the domain industry.

One thing is certain, complacency stunts growth. So if you think no one is on your heels with a business model you have, think again. Not only are they there, but they are also going to outperform the complacent business owner. Competition is great for any industry as it keeps everyone on their toes and the winner is always the one that consistently strives for excellence and provides the best tools/services.

We do not plan on stopping anytime soon with this many networks coming out the gate and will continue to offer the best social network in the domain industry. Many will copy exactly the same game plan we have done already with Geodomainer.com since we are the only ones in the industry with the much needed networking tools for domainers. However, it will still be fun to push the envelope and reach new levels in which domainers will benefit the most.

The ultimate goal would be one in which all the networks unite, crosslink, and share multiplatform networks where members can feel comfortable moving around the networks for targeted info. SimplyGeo.com is all for this, but this is the domain industry and many want everything for themselves. We will have to wait and see how things turn out. A unified front is the ultimate tool for the domain industry.
